The Elephant

Housed within an iconic 1850’s midtown mansion in Baltimore’s historic Mt Vernon neighborhood, The Elephant restaurant is adorned with decorative arts by Tiffany, De Forrest, Waterford, and Rinehart.

Located just one block north of the Washington Monument, at 924 N. Charles Street, The Elephant’s vibe is chic and casually elegant.

The Elephant serves culinary delights, handcrafted cocktails and succulent nibbles in the main first floor dining salons and the second floor Marble Bar and Lounge six nights a week.

Headed by General Manager/Partner Mallory Staley, The Elephant has been recognized as “One of the Top Ten Restaurants in 2016” [by The Baltimore Sun]. Executive Chef/Partner Andy Thomas infuses spices and cooking methods in globally inspired dishes, from Moroccan Tagines to a San Francisco Fisherman’s Stew, based in part on the world travel experiences of The Elephant’s other two partners, Linda Brown Rivelis, President and Steven Rivelis, CEO.

“We promise to deliver spectacular experiences that delight you, our guest, and in turn ourselves and all others who come in contact with The Elephant!”
