B&O American Brasserie

The restaurant at the historically significant Baltimore & Ohio building, which once served as the B&O Railroad Headquarters, a symbol of grandeur for what was then the city’s most prominent business, will feature an approachable American brasserie menu, a bustling bar with a selection of artesian wines and classic hand crafted cocktails, as well as an exhibition kitchen with a pizza oven and counter seating. Playing off the original Beaux Arts architecture of the building, guests will feel as if they’ve been transported back to the grandeur and opulence experienced by railway travelers in 1906.

The American brasserie celebrates the robust flavors and rustic foods of regional America and blends them with the energetic fast pace of the time honored European brasserie, leaving an innovative menu with a decidedly playful twist. The menu will include a large selection of small plates, charcuterie, cheeses, and flatbreads as well as a full à la carte menu, daily specials and a children’s menu. At the bar, guests can relax in the whimsical surroundings to reminisce on the adventures of the day.

The majestic grandness of the 4,500-sq. ft. restaurant space is complemented by warm, inviting service and approachable cuisine. Details from old B&O dining cars, such as The York, are incorporated into the chairs and individual lamps grace each table. Richly colored leathers and tailored wools with gleaming nail heads finish the chairs.
